Off-Season Performance

Programs

I built Michel Athletic Lab for athletes who refuse to plateau. As a Performance Specialist serving competitive athletes across the East End, my mission is to provide a structured, results-driven environment where measurable improvement is the standard — not the exception. Every session is designed around proven physiological principles: progressive overload, biomechanical analysis, and recovery optimization. Whether the goal is a college scholarship, a dominant senior season, or peak conditioning year-round, I use a calculated, data-driven approach to ensure every week moves the needle.

The Mission

Precision Performance for Competitive Athletes

Boxing training session at Gotham Gym NYC featuring pad work, teamwork, and high-energy coaching in a gritty urban setting.
Transitioning from the field to the sidelines required a shift from pure effort to precise mechanics. While competing as an NCAA Division II athlete and studying Sports Management at Lock Haven University, I became obsessed with the science of human performance. I spent years refining this technical expertise at the world-renowned Gotham Gym, where I was hand-selected to lead high-level technical pad work and combat conditioning. This period transformed my approach, moving beyond 'working hard' to 'training smart' through proven physiological principles.

The Transition

Greatness isn't born — it's built through consistency. My journey began on the field and the mat, where I spent a lifetime immersed in the culture of elite athletics. From earning All-State honors in wrestling to competing as a college-recruited football athlete and winning the NSCHSAA Discus Championship, I learned early that leadership and dedication are the non-negotiables of success. I've been where your athlete is — balancing school and training, performing at showcases, and competing for the next level. Those years weren't just about winning titles. They were about understanding the grit required to perform when the lights are brightest.
